Extraction is a process **in the chemical, cosmetic, herbal, pharmaceutical and food sectors** that can be carried out as follows:

- Extraction with water
- Extraction with solvents
- Steam distillation.

Steroglass has always **manufactured scientific glass equipment** for extractions in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. In particular, we specialize in the extraction of **essential oils** with borosilicate glass equipment for steam distillation process, defined as the official method. Essential oils can therefore be extracted from leaves, flowers, roots and berries whose **nutraceutical and organoleptic properties** are maintained unaltered thanks to low temperature extraction.  
In the cosmetic, phytotherapeutic and in the food sectors, essential oils are increasingly being used.
